Robert entered  the service from Michigan with service # 3112321.

 

Robert was KIA cause unknown at Luzon Strait Area, Philippines, on April  9, 1945, he is honored with a  Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Robert is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial  Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
