Ralph was KIA when the USS Morrison was attacked and Hit by a Kamikaze  on May 4, 1945, he is honored with a Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Ralph is buried/mentioned at Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA.
