Stephen enlisted the service in Connecticut with serial number # 8076202.

Stephen died during the Invasion of the Philippines when the USS Achilles was hit by a Kamikaze, on Nov. 12, 1944, he is honored with a Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Stephen is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial  Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
