Scott enlisted the service in Oregon with service number # 6545010.

 

Scott died during Typhoon Cobra when his ship sunk in the Philippine sea , on Dec. 18, 1944,

he is honored with a Combat Action Ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Scott is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial  Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
