The Imperial Japanese began their Invasion in the Philippines on 8 Dec 1941.

The 45th I.R.fought among American and Filipino forces when compelled to surrender on 9 Apr 1942.

Private Aaron became a POW and was imprisoned at Pow Camp Unknown,  he died shortly after.

 

Celestino was born  in 1919 in the Philippines.

 

Parents and Sibling, No Record Available.

 

He enlisted  the U.S.Army at the Philippine Islands with serial number #10303170.

 

Celestino Aaron Died as a Prisoner of War in Cp,. Unknown on Feb. 13, 1942, and is honored with a Bronze Star Medal, POW Medal, American Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Celestino is buried at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial, Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
