Clyde entered the Service from Rhode Island with service number # 2124061.

 

Clyde was KIA when his boat Sunk south at Java Sea by Japanese Destroyers, on March 3, 1942, he is honored with a Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Clyde is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial  Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
