Edward enlisted the U.S.Army in  Washington with service number # 37544885.

 

Edward was KIA near Mokmur Airfield on Biak Island, New Guinea on June 8, 1944,  is honored with a  Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Edward is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial  Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
