(The Imperial Japanese began their Invasion in Guam on 8 Dec 1941)

(It resorted to fighting together with American and Native forces when compelled to surrender on 10 Apr 1942).

Sm3c. Vincent became a POW on Guam and was sent to transport to a  Pow Camp Zentsuji in Japan with the  “Hellship“ Argentine Maru.

 

Vincenti (Vincent)is born in 1923 in Guam.

 

Father, Faust C. Acfalle.

Mother, Fransica C. Acfalle.

 

Vincent enlisted the service in GUAM  with service number # 4210947.

 

Vincent died as a prisoner in  POW Camp Zentsuji, Japan on July 15, 1944, he is honored with a  Purple Heart, POW Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Vincent is buried/mentioned at Honolulu Memorial Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA.
