Bataan Death March (April 9, 1942)

Pablo became a POW(April 9, 1942) an walked (60 miles) the Bataan Death March , Many (70.000 pow) walked this march and many died (aprox.600), lack of nutrition and water) to Prison Camps in the Philippines and he was send to Camp No Record, and became part of a work detail.

 

Pablo is born in the Philippines.

Pablo enlisted the U.S.Army in the Philippines with service number # 10302955.

 

Pablo died as a POW on June 10, 1942, he is honored with a Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster, Bronze Star Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Pablo is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial  Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
