Adams, Roland C.

      He was in 1942 taken Prisoner by the Japanese Forces.

 

Roland was born in 1917 in Newburyport,  Massachusetts.

 

Father, George F. Adams.

Mother, Clarissa E. (Eaton) Adams.

 

Roland entered  the Service from Boston, Massachusetts  with service # 11020078.

 

Roland died as a POW in Camp. Cabanatuan on July 12, 1942, he is honored with a  Purple Heart, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Roland is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial  Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
