Hugh was born in 1923 in  Alabama.

Mother, Elizabeth Adams.

 

Hugh enlisted the U.S.Army in Alabama with service number # 14175992.

 

Hugh was KIA in the Fights over Luzon, Philippines on Aug. 14, 1945, he is honored with a  Purple Heart, Combat Infantry Badge, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Hugh is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial  Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
