Steven entered  the Service from California with service # 0-267865.

 

Steven was KIA when the Sub was Sunk by a Depth Charge from the Japanese Destroyer IJn  Harukaze, on Oct.  24, 1944, he is honored with a  Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Steven is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial  Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
