Vonceal entered  the service from Arkansas with service-number # 8446687.

 

Vonceal was KIA  during a Battle at Ryukyu Islands, when the ship hit a mine, on March 26, 1945, he is honored with a  Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Vonceal is buried/mentioned at Honolulu Memorial Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA.
