William entered  the Service from Pennsylvania with service number # o-328381.

 

William was KIA  when the PT-323 was hit by a Kamikaze plane, on Dec. 10, 1944, he is honored with a  Purple Heart, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

William is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial  Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
