Frederick entered  the Service from Missouri with service-number # 3371633.

 

Frederick was KIA when the USS Pillsbury Sunk by a Japanese surface action in the Bali Strait, on March 1, 1942, he is honored with a Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Frederick is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial  Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
