Donald entered  the Service from Massachusetts with service-number # 0-10376.

 

Donald was KIA when his ship Sunk after a hit from the Japanese Destroyer Amatsukaze on the Battle of Guadacanal, on Nov.13, 1942, he is honored with a  Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Donald is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial  Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
