Harm was KIA during a Japanese Bomb strike on the ship near  Honshu, Japan Island, on March 19, 1945, he is honored with a Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Harm is buried/mentioned at Honolulu Memorial Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA.
