Edward was KIA when 2 Kamikaze’s attacked the USS Drexler and Sunk on May 28, 1945, he  is honored with a Purple Heart, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Edward is buried/mentioned at Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA.
