Alfred entered  the service from Missouri with service number # 3377714.

 

 

Alfred was KIA during a Kamikaze strikes, near the Sugigaro Strait, on Dec. 11, 1944, he is honored with a Navy, Cross, Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Alfred is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial  Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
