The Imperial Japanese began their Invasion in the Philippines on 8 Dec 1941.

The 65th resorted to fighting together among American and Filipino forces when compelled to surrender on 9 Apr 1942.

Private Alamo became a POW and was imprisoned at Pow Camp no record, he survived the Bataan Death March, but died shortly after it.

 

Juan is born in the Philippines.

Juan enlisted the U.S.Army in Philippines with service number # 10306255.

 

Juan died as a POW on june 4, 1942, he is honored with a POW Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Juan is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial  Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
