Earl entered  the service from Massachusetts with service number # 2127466.

 

Earl died during the typhoon Cobra, the rudder jammed and the ship capsized and sunk, on Dec. 18, 1944, he is honored with a Combat Action Ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Earlis buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial  Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
