Wallace entered  the Service from Virginia with service number # 2659230.

 

 

Wallace was KIA  when the ship was attacked and bombed and Sunk by the Japanese Navy, on Feb. 27, 1942, he is honored with a Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Wallace is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial  Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
