Harold enlisted the service in North Dakota with service number # 9612179.

 

 

Harold died when the USS Hull was foundered in the Typhoon Cobra at Dec. 18, 1944, he  is honored with a Combat Action Ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Harold is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial  Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
