Roger enlisted the service in California with service number # 3816644.

 

 

Roger died during a Training accident on-board the (base) USS White Plains, on June 17,  1943, he  is honored with a Combat Action Ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Roger is buried/mentioned at Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA.
