Thedore enlisted the service in Louisiana with service number # 2743914.

 

 

Thedore died when the USS Grant was hit several time’s, 38 Men were Killed, 104 Wounded, but her crew got her save in the Port during  the Battle of Surigao Strait on Oct. 25, 1944, he is honored with a  Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Thedore is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial  Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
