Bataan Death March (April 9, 1942)

Private Alferes became a POW an walked (60 miles) the Bataan Death March , Many (together with 70.000 pow) walked this march and many died (aprox.600), lack of nutrition and water) to Prison Camps in the Philippines and he was send to Camp No Record, and became part of a work detail.

 

Restitutio is born in the Philippines.

Restituio enlisted the service in the Philippines with service number # 10303743.

 

Restitio died as a POW on Sept. 16, 1944, he is honored with a Purple Heart, POW Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal.

 

Restituio is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial  Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
