Aliff, Patrick Melvin

Melvin is born on May 24, 1920 in Keystone, West Virginia.

Sisters, Rita and Rosalyn C. Aliff.

Brothers, Oadey P. Leonard L.. Elwin E. Edmund H. and William Aliff.

 

Melvin enlisted the service in West Virginia with service number # 465172.

 

 

Melvin died in a Hospital ship of his wounds sustained during the landing at Saipan on June 15, 1944, he is honored with a Purple Heart, Bronze Star Medal, Combat Action Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, WW II Victory Medal.

 

 

Melvin is buried/mentioned at Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu County, Hawaii U.S.A.
