Glen was KIA when the ship was attacked by a Kamikaze and crashed on the flight deck on Oct. 30, 1944, Aviation Radioman Second Class Glen. Allen is honored with a Air Medal, Purple Heart, American Campaign Medal and a WWII victory Medal.

 

Glen is buried/mentioned at  Manila American Cemetery and Memorial  Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
