Ensign Joe S. Allen was reported missing in action over Luzon, Philippines (according he was hit by FLAK and exploded over Clark Field area on Dec. 15, 1945, he is honored with a Purple Heart, Air Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, WW II Victory Medal.


Joe is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial Manila, metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
