This transport group brought people and Cargo from the Pacific Area (Hickham Airfield, Hawaii) to the U.S (Hamilton Field, San Francisco).

There were 2 kinds of Divisions then, a Domestic and Foreign Division, later called Wings, under the structure of the Air Transport Command, in Asia Under CBI.

Malcolm died in accident off Ohahu, Hawaii on Nov. 11, 1944, Technical Sergeant Malcolm W. Allen is honored with a Air Medal, American Campaign and a WWII Victory medal.

Malcolm is buried/mentioned at Honolulu Memorial  Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA.

Malcolm also has a Memorial Grave at Newport Cemetery  Newport, Vermillion County, Indiana, USA.
