Theodore enlisted the service in Illinois with service number # 834275.

 

Theodore was wounded during the landing on Betio transported to a hospital ship but died of his injuries on Nov. 22, 1943, he is honored with a Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, Expeditionary Medal, American Campaign Medal, Distinguished Unit Citation, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, WW II Victory Medal.

 

Theodore is buried/mentioned at Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu County, Hawaii U.S.A.
