Edward died non-Battle near Fort Stotsenburg, the Philippines on Feb. 26, 1945, he is honored with a Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Distinguished Unit Citation, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, WW II Victory Medal.

 

Edward is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.

He also has a Memorial Grave at Saint Johns Cemetery, New Bedford, Bristol County, Massachusetts, USA.
