Conrad died when the plane landed at Angaur Island (probably due to bad weather) on Feb. 23, 1945, he is honored with a Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Army & Air Presidential Unit Citation, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, WW II Victory Medal.

 

Conrad is buried/mentioned at Manila American Cemetery and Memorial Manila, Metro Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines.
