Rudy was KIA in Quang Tin Province, South Vietnam by an explosive Device on 29 May 1969, he is honored with a Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 1 Campaign Star, National Defense Service Medal.

 

Rudy is buried/mentioned at Lake Wales Cemetery, Lake Wales, Polk County, Florida, USA.

 

He was MIA, but his remains were found.
