Joseph entered  the service from Pennsylvania in  Dec. 4, 1942 with service number # 0-777397.

 

Joseph R. Zeock was a 2nd Lieutenant (Bombardier) in the 871st Bomber Squadron.

Joseph was KIA due to battle damage over the target (AA hit the fuel tank that made the plane crashed), on Jan. 27, 1945, and he is honored with an Air Medal, Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Army Presidential Unit Citation, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, WW II Victory Medal.

 

Joseph is buried at Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii, USA.
